Resumo: Junior Companies (JC) are considered potential spaces for professional academic training, learning, encouraging entrepreneurship and creating opportunities in society because they enable the immersion of students in topics that encourage their resource of leadership, teamwork, people management and especially their entrepreneurial mindset. In order to establish an entrepreneurial mindset and/or practices within companies, the characteristics and characteristics of the products they comprise are mandatory. In this sense, this research aimed to highlight the role of Quanttum, a Junior Company of the Chemical Engineering Course at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), in the development of entrepreneurial characteristics and sector in its members (former and current). The methodology was disseminated through bibliographical research and field data collection in two complementary moments: open interview with a sample of three Quanttum graduates who had their professional perspectives changed through the work developed by EJ, in the period from 2014 to 2020; and online form through the Google Forms platform with the thirty four members of Quanttum in the year 2021. The data were transmitted qualitatively and through content analysis pathways. With the systematized results, it was possible to evidence the role of EJ in the development of characteristics and entrepreneurs with emphasis, at a descending level, for: demand for quality and efficiency, self-confidence and independence, commitment, seeking opportunities. The data also point to possibilities of expanding entrepreneurship within Quanttum through the expansion of training in entrepreneurship, since EJ has this function of entrepreneurial education and the development of practices with companies. The results also point to the importance of the continuity of this project in the training of chemical engineers at UTFPR-PG.
