For this purpose, the paper analyzes Andresen’s poems that display a contemplative attitude in relation to the beings and elements of nature, with the aim of assimilating how this characteristic is responsible for proposing the breakdown of the hierarchy between human and natural through the similarity between word and nature. As theoretical foundation, the authors of literary studies and language studies who question the technicist model of progress adopted from modernity on are related, as well as authors who defend an ecocritical perspective, in order to rethink the relationships between the human and the non-human that permeate contemporaneity. Esta dissertação investiga as relações entre palavra e natureza na obra poética da poeta portuguesa Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen (1919-2004). Para tanto, analisam-se poemas da autora que evidenciam uma atitude contemplativa em relação aos seres e aos elementos da natureza, com o objetivo de assimilar de que maneira essa característica é responsável por estabelecer a quebra da hierarquia entre o humano e o natural mediante um fazer literário que assume uma perspectiva de consonância entre palavra e natureza. Como fundamentação teórica, relacionam-se autores das áreas de estudos literários e estudos da linguagem que questionam o modelo tecnicista de progresso adotado a partir da modernidade, bem como autores que defendem uma perspectiva ecocrítica, com o intuito de repensar as relações entre o humano e o não humano estabelecidas até a contemporaneidade. 2022-04-19T17:56:49Z 2022-04-19T17:56:49Z 2022-02-23 masterThesis CASTEX, Murillo Hochuli.
