This work refers to a concern about the assessment of learning in Basic Education, which intensified in the school scenario during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several questions have arisen about what it is to evaluate student learning, among them, our research question: What is to evaluate? From the perspective of what is to evaluate, how to evaluate student learning? What forms of assessment and teaching resources have been used? Therefore, it was decided to study and investigate the subject according to researchers in the areas of Assessment, History of Mathematics Education, Mathematics Didactics and, according to the guidelines of official documents. In addition, the contributions of some research carried out on this topic were investigated, which will be presented in the development of this work. The results of these research contributed to answer the research question and, led us to reflect on the urgent need for discussions on the subject in teacher training courses and in continuing education courses. |
