Resumo: This paper aims to address the development of the project of an electric scooter for use in urban mobility that can be manufactured in the national territory and with market insertion. Initially the work addresses the importance of implementing alternatives to the common means of urban mobility and the economic and sustainable impacts that this change can bring. Through methodologies such as MVP (minimum viable product), PDP (product development process) and the use of algorithms for decision making such as TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) it was possible to separate the minimum needs for the project as well as the criteria to be considered for the choice of materials and paths to be followed. Through the minimum needs pointed out were selected and calculated the components that would fit for the proposal of a scooter with good performance and low manufacturing cost, which in the end proved to have an energy efficiency above the average supported by the market, but for this it was necessary to reduce costs on other components. Using CAD3D (3D computer aided design) design tools and FEA (finite element structural analysis) simulations it was possible to develop a tangible product for manufacturing and feasibility for commercialization, a final product that has much room for refinement, but is also ready to be marketed as a product resulting from the MVP method. Although not all the product's operating and manufacturing requirements were met, the final results proved satisfactory in comparison with similar products on the market, bringing a highly efficient scooter for urban use. For target specifications not met, modifications are proposed for future derivations of the project. Micro mobility using electric energy is taking its initial steps, and projects in this area have great potential for growth.
