This work presents a proposal for teaching concepts of semiconductor materials and electronic circuits with a bipolar junction transistor device. The expectation is that students can build their knowledge, from the proposed contents, and recognize the importance of the transistor in their daily lives and also for society. A didactic sequence based on the main concepts of David Ausubel’s Theory of Meaningful Learning was elaborated. Diagnostic assessments were developed at the beginning and at the end of the application, which made it possible to identify signs of significant learning in students. The theoretical, experimental, and computational activities developed made it possible to create an environment that involved students in the application of this work. This proposal for teaching physics content was applied to students in the third year of high school at a public school in the State Education network. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the application of this educational product was carried out a "hybrid" teaching model, part of the students were present and part in remote teaching. Finally, it was observed that some students managed to assemble projects with the transistor, which made it easier to verify, in practice, the contents seen in theory and the operating principles of some electronic devices present in everyday life. |
