Resumo: As human actions and the consequences they have caused in the environment are studied, there is an increasing urgency to promote structural change. One of the main factors responsible for environmental impacts is the construction and operations of buildings, and from this, the objective of this work is shaped: to adapt the popular housing project Casa Fácil with effective bioclimatic strategies to improve the level of residential comfort of people from low income in the city of Marechal Cândido Rondon. To carry out this study, a case study of the Casa Fácil project was carried out, in which bioclimatic strategies favorable to the local climate were defined using the ProjetEEE, Analysis Bio, Analysis ABC, ZBBR and Climate Consultant tools; the performance of the original project was evaluated based on the prescriptive method of NBR 15575, 15220 and other regulations, methodologies and existing software; improvements were proposed for the original project based on the results obtained, and the popular housing project Casa Fácil was remodeled with the application of strategies in the Revit program. As a result, the thermal performance of the external seals were in accordance with the evaluated criteria, but the cover needs adjustment in thermal transmittance and solar factor. As for the shading of openings, all windows are at odds with the criterion, making it necessary to use shading devices to block the entry of sun in summer. With regard to ventilation, all openings did not comply with the opening area recommended by the regulations, making it necessary to expand the useful area. Finally, the only environments with an adequate air renewal rate are the living room and kitchen, generating the need to use ventilation devices to increase air exchange. From this result, it is observed that the Casa Fácil project has irregularities in relation to the performance and comfort criteria, and must be adapted so that users have a better quality of life.
