Resumo: Nowadays, one of the biggest challenges inside the organizational environment is how the employees are trained and, consequently, developed. However, looking for break and deconstruct the paradigms of traditional training methods, active methodologies are acquiring more and more space within large corporations, given the fact that their application model is more dynamic and closer to the daily situations of employees. One of the methodologies is Design Thinking, which has as a premise, a solution to complex problems, instigating creativity, critical thinking, and work. In this sense, the present study aims to control the operation of the use of the method in the focus on the management and training of people in a vertical transports company, located in the city of Londrina. Methodologically, the Action Research method was used. From the results, it was obtained that the training, from Design Thinking, promoted and increased creativity and motivation, considering the three points rated in the research. The first was in relation to the use of Design Thinking as a training strategy, which obtained 100% total satisfaction among the participants. The second evaluated personal/professional development based on Design Thinking, with 50% of total satisfaction among employees. And, finally, Design Thinking was openly evaluated as an organizational management tool, a section in which it was possible to clearly notice the positive feeling that the participants had during the training.
