Resumo: On-line Transaction Processing (OLTP) environments, or transactional environments, are database management systems generally designed to optimize the processing of short, real-time transactions where data is constantly changing. These solutions are usually very well designed for the recovery of all information referring to an individual, however, they can have considerable loss of performance in the recovery based on clusters. In this work, a proof of concept is presented for the resolution of information retrieval problems in a well-known governmental process processing system. Substantiated proposals are presented, as well as the result of their deployments in a production environment, bringing gains: better database performance, improved user experience and savings in computational resources.
