Resumo: This case of study is proposed to investigate the practices adopted by Pormade - Industry of wood doors and decorative accessories - located in the União da Vitória city. The same is considered a company of excellence in quality of life at work on several times the company was listed among the best of Brazil in terms of working conditions and welfare of employees. The methodology that was applied in accordance with the objectives proposed, emphasizing that this study is also characterized by its exploratory nature. It was used in this study, the instrument WHOQOL-Bref for analysis of Quality of Life instrument in motivating potential at work and use of forms ith notes of employees of the productive sectors of the industry. For this study, so structured: introduction to the study, a review of the issues on quality, Quality of Life, Quality of Life at Work, Quality Management and the importance of practices that enable the quality and involvement of employees in the activities of industry; proceed to analyze the data, the discussion on the results, the presentation of notes from the forms used and the conclusion of the study. The general objective of this study is to assess if the practices adopted by the industry enables the increase of the Quality of Life at Work in the company Pormade. This study provides information to ensure continuity of studies on quality of life at work, providing it through discussions, comparisons and contributions to the increase in Quality, Quality of Life and Quality of Life at Work. It is concluded that the continued of the practices of motivation Quality of Life at Work undertaken by the company in this case study are important, because provide higher degrees of satisfaction in the work environment and care in carrying out activities in each productive sector. It is equally a concern in investing in human resources considering the aspect of quality of life of each employee. There is the understanding that the practices adopted by the company enable the increased quality of life at work, through the use of practices that evaluate the performance of the productive sector of the company, implemented by the sector of Human Resources of the organization.
