The workplace is very conducive to health promotion. With this, a program of health promotion and quality of life at work (PSQVT) shows to be of great value in both public and private institutions. Therefore, the present research seeks to propose an effective health promotion model, designed for a federal institution of higher education in Paraná state. For this, the actions and the previously existing structure in the institution were initially listed in terms of health promotion of the server, through information on the institution's website. Subsequently, data extracted from periodic occupational exams performed at the occupational health service in 2016 were analyzed, preserving the confidentiality of the data. The most critical points, that is, with the highest percentage of alterations found were: physical activity, hypertension and BMI. Based on these data, a health promotion program model was presented, aiming at the following goals: increased adherence to periodic medical examinations, improved health and quality of life of the employees, improved quality of program information, optimization of resources available to the university in relation to the infrastructure available for health and quality of life and increase the range of actions in health promotion and disease prevention. For this, the program uses two main strategies; collective and individual actions, which need to be verified during periodic medical examinations and at the end of each year, on the occasion of the annual report of activities of the occupational health sector. The program will initially not use specific resources, using only the existing infrastructure in the institution and the revaluation of the results and adjustments required will be annual. |
