This study aims to analyze the representation of Ministry of high school students view point after the study of television commercials, as well as identify media devices that create condition for these representations. To enable a more concise analysis of the different scientific meanings that students have, it includes a brief account of the science of character to be compared. The research was developed from the interview technique with focus group under the guidance of a pre-prepared script emphasizing the discussion of media devices (first identified), without naming them as such. Pupils of a class of third year of high school to a public school of Paraná north where, through the audio recording during the implementation of the work was the identification and subsequent analysis of discourses permeated by chemical and scientific statements. The scientific discourse presented by the students and the representation of science exposed by the media devices, show the commercials influence on respondents and it is clear that these comply perfectly with the task of persuading and institute the consumer the need to guarantee authenticity and satisfaction in purchasing the product offered. One hopes that with research new thinking of science be given by the students, developing a more critical nature of the way that science is imposed on the media shaping their public behavior and, especially, to be detached from the undisputed character of scientific validations, making plausible questions and the development of science. |
