Resumo: The paving has a structural function to resist the forces imposed by the traffic and improve the bearing conditions. The last and most important layer that provides a floor is the coating. The main types of coatings used today are: CBUQ (machined hot bituminous concrete) and TS (surface treatment), each one with its own characteristics, physical properties and different costs. The present study aimed to make a comparative analysis by addressing the structural aspects of implementation and enforcement of these types of coatings in the city that has plant CBUQ. Thus, we can conclude that the feasibility of applying the CBUQ brings benefits to society presenting a greater durability than the TST and immediate release of the traffic.
