This academic work is the result of a theoretical and practical assessment of how the quality measurement method called Six Sigma can be appropriated to become in more competitive a specific production process of a wireless company and electric cables. The chosen object of study was the flagship production segment in the company's sales, stranded copper cables of 1, 2 and 4 mm square. It proposes a literature review in which it discusses the concepts of quality approaching its historical stages, highlighting the Six Sigma model and the characteristics of its implementation using as a methodological model reference the DMAIC tool. These concepts served to support the case study in a leading company in Paraguay, specializes in producing wires and cables. |
