The third age has become in a powerful representative segment in Brazil due to the longevity, the life quality and the reduction of the birth rate. Considering the fast increase of this group, the poor investments and strategies designated for it can be noticed, mainly concerning the fashion clothing’s consumption for women of this age group. The identification of cultural, social and psychological aspects that impact directly in the third age women’s consumption behavior could help to collect some important information for this work. This project was organized by a qualitative research with assertive inquiry, in order to reach the development of sexagenarian women clothing attending their esthetic and functional necessities. The enforcement of ergonomic modeling and the anthropometric adaptation are technical to be developed to result in desired targets. |
