Most part of the destination for civil constructions waste is the landfills. These materials are generated in large volume and end up causing environmental problems. The present research had its study on graduated use of Construction and Demolition Waste in sub-base and base layers of medium traffic volume pavement, as a way to minimize these problems. With the accomplishment of compaction and CBR test executed in laboratory from Federal Technology University of Paraná Campus Campo Mourão, it was verified a lesser optimum humidity and a bigger maximum specific apparent dry weight as the application of the residue in the mixture increased. It was also found that the CBR index reached 29,49% with the recycled aggregate content of 50%. The results obtained in this work prove the technical viability of the construction and demolition residue use in the base and sub-base layer in a medium traffic volume pavement. |
