This paper presents some proposals for actions to implement the 5S Program in a flour company at a Region near Curitiba. From visits and conversations with the owner, it was possible to have a vision of the environments and changes that could be implemented. The application of the five senses, in an effective and continuous way, is able to bring changes about habits, motivation and cultural change of the organization, which will result in increased productivity and reduction of waste. Faced with the impossibility of applying the program, references and cases of application in other companies were brought in order to perceive the benefits and difficulties encountered in the application of the program. To be successful, it is necessary to commit and engage everyone, because implementing the program is not only a way of organizing the environment, it is a cultural change, a change in the way of thinking and acting in the day to day of the organization. Is not easy to change attitudes and environments with which we were accustomed, because of that, is necessary instruction, awareness and use of control tools for the program to be applied and maintained. |
