Resumo: The objective of this research was to identify the motivations, perceptions and perspectives of UTFPR-CT Administration students about the course and future careers. In detail, the study, in its theoretical part, seeks to understand the motivation in the general sense and the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Also, when it comes to perception, it raised the concept from philosophical and psychological theoretical basis, beyond the perspective of definition and explanation of Future Time Perspective. Another aspect presented in this research demand to describe the course of administration and your history in Brazil gathering data that show the changing demand of the course over time. So, the survey was conducted with the students of the eight semesters of the institution, adding to the number of 172 respondents. It was used for data collection a questionnaire prepared in Word, composed of 66 questions, and they distributed in open questions, multiple choice and structured large part Likert scale. The distribution of questionnaires in the classroom took place thanks to the collaboration of teachers, therefore, lasted a week, held in the classroom (in loco). It was found that most students surveyed had as motivating object to joining the Administration course the fact that it is a federal institution; by administration to be a comprehensive course; believing that they can open their own businesses. Moreover, that students analyzed rated positively their development of skills, however, in relation to the environment students believe there is deficiency in the professional performance and accountability to the same. Furthermore, respondents emphasized his claims to continue his studies after completion of higher education, where most want to continue their studies, starting a graduate, whether an MBA and/or Master. On de other hand, it was noted that only a small part of the 172 students surveyed are said dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the current management course of the Federal Technological University of Paraná.
