In detail, the study, in its theoretical part, seeks to understand the motivation in the general sense and the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Also, when it comes to perception, it raised the concept from philosophical and psychological theoretical basis, beyond the perspective of definition and explanation of Future Time Perspective. Another aspect presented in this research demand to describe the course of administration and your history in Brazil gathering data that show the changing demand of the course over time. So, the survey was conducted with the students of the eight semesters of the institution, adding to the number of 172 respondents. It was used for data collection a questionnaire prepared in Word, composed of 66 questions, and they distributed in open questions, multiple choice and structured large part Likert scale. The distribution of questionnaires in the classroom took place thanks to the collaboration of teachers, therefore, lasted a week, held in the classroom (in loco). It was found that most students surveyed had as motivating object to joining the Administration course the fact that it is a federal institution; by administration to be a comprehensive course; believing that they can open their own businesses. Moreover, that students analyzed rated positively their development of skills, however, in relation to the environment students believe there is deficiency in the professional performance and accountability to the same. Furthermore, respondents emphasized his claims to continue his studies after completion of higher education, where most want to continue their studies, starting a graduate, whether an MBA and/or Master. On de other hand, it was noted that only a small part of the 172 students surveyed are said dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the current management course of the Federal Technological University of Paraná. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar as motivações, percepções e perspectivas dos alunos de Administração da UTFPR-CT em relação ao curso e futuras carreiras. De forma detalhada, o estudo, em sua parte teórica, busca comprrender a motivação, no seu sentido geral, e a motivação intrínseca e extrínseca. Também, no tratante a percepção, é levantado o conceito a partir de bases teóricas filosóficas e psicológicas, além da definição de perspectiva e explicações sobre Perspectivas de Tempo Futuro. Outro aspecto apresentado no presente trabalho visa descrever o curso de administração e sua história no Brasil reunindo dados que mostrem a evolução da procura do curso com o passar do tempo. Desta forma, a pesquisa foi realizada com os estudantes dos oito períodos letivos da instituição, somando o número de 172 respondentes. Utilizou-se para coleta de dados um questionário elaborado em Word, composto por 66 questões, sendo elas distribuídas em questões abertas, de múltipla escolha e grande parte estruturada em escala de Likert. A distribuição dos questionários em sala de aula se deu graças à colaboração dos professores, assim sendo, teve duração de uma semana, realizada em sala de aula (in loco). Constatou-se que a maioria dos estudantes pesquisados tiveram como objeto motivador para ingressar no curso de Administração o fato de que se trata de uma instituição federal; por administração ser um curso abrangente; por acreditarem que podem abrirem seus próprios negócios. Apurou-se que os estudantes analisados avaliaram de maneira positiva os seus desenvolvimentos de competências, porém, em relação ao meio ambiente os alunos acreditam haver deficiência quanto a atuação profissional e responsabilidade perante o mesmo. Além do mais, os respondentes enfatizaram suas pretensões em continuar seus estudos após a conclusão do curso superior, no qual a grande maioria pretende dar continuidade aos seus estudos, assim, iniciando uma pós-graduação, seja ela um MBA e/ou Mestrado.
