The present study presents an analysis of stabilization of an expasive soils through a study of case of the path of the railway Marigá-Paranaguá that passes by Araucária, metropolitan area of Curitiba. The study consists in a geological characterization founded in a theoretical framework about the phiscal ratios and on tests in camp and laboratory. The sequency was based in computacional dimensioning, through Bishop's Method, considering the possible solutions to the problem. At the end of the analisys, the results compares the diferent solutions in terms of safety factor and, together with the particutarities of execution, enough data is given for the decision to be made. |
