Resumo: This study aims to compare schedule delays in projects through a comparative index and correlate this to the number of apartments constructed, analyze the critical processes in noncompliance with deadline schedules and identify the most frequent causes of delays. It was collected data from large companies, which act in Curitiba. Using statistical tools, this study analyzes data according to the Theory of Errors, using concepts of Gauss-Laplace distribution, and evaluation of a linear correlation between variables via Pearson’s correlation coefficient, resulting in indexes to each critical process. The results demonstrate that weather is a significant factor to consider when planning schedules in site, being the most influential processes external plastering and infrastructure. Yet, it was possible to correlate weeks of delay in schedule and number of units constructed throughout indexes.
