Resumo: Music has great richness concerning conceptual physics, and that should be explored in a classroom, leading to discussions about the elements therein and giving grants for students to understand what happens physically. Following this line, the present work aims to use a didactic sequence to verify whether the students had significant learning related to sound intensity and frequency, in addition to the new contents to high school, the spherical sound wave propagation. The theoretical framework is based on the theory of meaningful learning of Ausubel with the explanations of Marco Antonio Moreira, and also on a literature survey in the National Symposium of Physics of the last ten years, from 2003 to 2013, beyond theory of physics written by Eisberg. Thus this study aimed to apply the instructional sequence of 2 hours-class to collect data related to meaningful learning, with the use of a diary. Content analysis is taken by daily based on Laurence Bardin.
