This research has as a main goal to analyze comparatively proficiency perceptions related to the examiner’s experience (from early to advanced career path) mostly in the role of the observer in the application of the oral exam of Celpe-Bras. Its based on the theories concerning ethnomethodology by Garfinkel’s (1967) and Scaramucci’s (2000) perspectives regarding the terminology of proficiency of a language. This study aims to verify if these perceptions have an actual impact in the oral exam; it also aims to check the teacher’s roles in relation with their beliefs about the exam. |
