Resumo: There are numerous solutions which integrate the technological word with medicine. In this context, the enterprise Bioprototype relates the technical knowledge in the areas of computing, mechatronics and medicine to produce printed molds for the manufacturing of cranial prosthesis applied in cranioplasty. However, the construction of these molds requires many stages which need a constant communication between the enterprise’s technicians and the medical professional in charge, which in instance demands time and consequently delays the patient’s surgical procedure. Therefore, the present work has the objective of presentation of the development of a medical platform, applying techniques of augmented reality in the validation process of mold manufacturing for prosthesis in cranial defect reconstructions. The project aims to diminish the existent bottleneck in the fabrication process due to the interaction time between the parts during the step of validation. The platform was developed as an application for Android and also for the web environment. For the augmented reality the libraries Vuforia and ThreeJS were used.
