It is increasingly common to find production steps performed by robotic cells, particularly in the automotive industry. In this work of course conclusion was held automating a workstation through the use of a robot in an engine manufacturer. For this, we developed a grab for the robot, being able to perform such operations screwing and unscrewing a part of engine into an adapter that moves the production line. It was developed logic operations screwing and unscrewing a part of engine involving the robot programmable controller, the sensors and the grab, among others. Were guaranteed the quality aspects required by the engine manufacturer and the safety aspects of a robot cell. With the installation of the system, the company will get increased productivity, reduced time to perform operations, repeatability of operations and improving product quality. |
