The organic production of potatoes is linked to the choice of cultivars, which, with proper management, generate plants with good sanity, resulting in good productivity and supply of tubers with quality for the consumer. Thus, the objective of the present work was to evaluate the performance of potato cultivars under organic production management. The experiment was conducted in the municipality of Vitorino, Paraná, on the property of the Gobatto family, during the months of August / 2017 to January / 2018. The experiment consisted of ten treatments, being potato cultivars, under a randomized block design, with four replications. The production components were obtained by evaluating: production and quantity of commercial tubers. Data were submitted to analysis of variance and comparison of means by the Scott & Knott test (p <0.05). The cultivar BRSIPR Bel showed higher commercial productivity of tubers. The cultivars Ágata, Asterix, BRSIPR Bel, BRS Ana, BRS Clara, IPR Cris and Orchestra presented the highest numbers of tubers with 270.237, 316.665, 346.427, 291.665, 255.951, 301.189 and 279.760 tubers ha-1, respectively. As for the commercial cultivars BRSIPR Bel presented the highest productivity with 28.80 t ha-1, but the cultivars Asterix, BRS Ana, BRS F63, BRS Clara, IPR Cris, Markies and Orchestra also showed yields of promising commercial tubers in the region, with 18.78, 20.93, 17.39, 13.38, 20.09 and 19.63 t ha-1, respectively. |
