This work aims at presenting an exploratory piece of research which investigated some contributions of English teaching reflective practice to a pre-service teacher by means of some of her teaching reports she carried out in a Basic English Course which in turn was part of an Extension Project titled Inclusão Digital como meio para a Inclusão Social of Departamento de Engenharia da Computação of Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, Câmpus Pato Branco. In order to get the objetives of the research, the reports written by the teacher, during the period of the Basic English Course taught to students of students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of Ensino Médio of Casa Familiar Rural de Pato Branco/PR, were analyzed. From this investigation, the pre-service teacher could realize her teaching practice, self-knowledge, as well as, knowledge of the ways she taught in order some interventions and changes could be possible. Moreover, the development of reflective practice contributed to the pre-service teacher’s teaching education. |
