Resumo: This study aimed to suggest an alternative methodology for the teaching of chemistry in high school, from the preparation of a book of experimental activities for the 2nd year of high school, assisting in the development of thinking and chemical models through concrete observations, making reference to the teaching of chemistry, it is implemented in schools of public education regarding the teaching / learning of students, as it relates to knowledge and application of practical lessons. The work was developed with the elaboration and implementation of the book in the Colégio Estadual Mário de Andrade – Francisco Beltrão/PR, with students from 2nd year of the average night, to check the feasibility of the experiments, if they were contemplating the need and prior knowledge already acquired by students. Later, it was evaluating the results observed during the experiments, obtaining a positive result for the making of the book, which although not a great contribution to the teaching / learning of students, will serve as alternative material teachers to innovate and use of educational resources for teaching chemistry.
