The present term paper was proposed in order to develop a tool that helps with the process of mead fermentation with temperature control. Keeping in mind that the wort fermentation is an exothermic reaction that liberates heat, harming some of the yeast properties, leaving on the final product some undesirable aromas. The idea is to use Peltier plates inside a thermal box been controlled by an Arduino controller, to produce a low-cost fermenter, having as target audience the “garage” producers that ferments mead as a hobby. |
