This research presents an analysis about the approach of textual multimodality in the material of support to the curriculum of the public school of the state of São Paulo, observing if the orientations of the material aim to explore in an efficient way the textual genres. The activities analyzed were taken from the material entitled "Caderno do Aluno" prepared by Secretary of Education for the teaching of Portuguese Language in the ninth year of elementary school. We believe that effective work with multimodal genres can be a valuable tool for the development of current reading skills, given the transformations caused by technological advances in understanding the world. The objective is to point out how the development of specific reading strategies through work with multimodal genres in the ninth grade of elementary school can contribute to the formation of proficient, critical and aware readers of the different uses of reading in the daily practice social. |
