Resumo: The analysis of literary works through different verbal and non-verbal languages such as literature, cinematographic work, painting, and other media reveal that the perspective of the inter-mediatic approach of aesthetic content makes it possible to systematize the specific features of different languages, establishing relations of formal divergence and thematic isotopy, which allows the interpretation of genres of different supports, the use of technological resources dynamizes reading and writing activities, thus, the student leaves the condition of passive reader to become subject of the exercise of the capacities of creation, reasoning, analysis, comparison, sensorial perceptions and potentialization of the senses. The works of art become resources of the methodology that activate the reasoning and the application of procedures of approach of the aesthetic systems in comparison, expose the central elements susceptible of intermidiática analysis mediated by the different languages. The methodology used was based on bibliographic and descriptive research, the data collection was done through research in books and articles that deal with the intermidiality theme not only as a process of interaction between media, but also in the literature. The documents analyzed were Charles Dickens's literary work "Oliver Twist" in the translation of Marina Guaspari and Sylvia Guaspari, compared to the film version "Oliver Twist" directed by Roman Polanski. The results obtained indicated the presence of intermidiality through the fusion of verbal and nonverbal elements, making possible the comprehension of the discursive genre of the works in distinct supports, as well as in different languages.
