Chemistry teaching in general is seen as abstract and taught in a traditional manner and without contextualization of topics. So it is increasingly growing interest of professional chemistry in the area of education in activities that provide learning satisfactorily in the eyes of students. This work had as a thematic the development of a methodology for chemical education for high school classes in public schools in Ponta Grossa through the use of play activities in the classroom. These activities include the use of word searches, crossword puzzles and cryptograms on one of the important themes of the chemical periodic table, which does not awaken the interest as it is a very boring subject. These activities allowed the students treat, review and work out the issue in a more dynamic way. The use of these activities was important in teaching and understanding of the topic, since students were more interested and stimulated and therefore the activities proved an innovative and attractive methodology, favoring the teaching-learning process. |
