The context of this study is the difficulty the students to the learning of Mathematics whose importance is indisputable for the training of these students. For the Mathematics teaching is need to spend greater efforts to retain satisfactory results, as this appears mystified as something scary and complicated For this study we sought the authenticity of this problem in the responses of students in the first year of high school in a public school Municipality Medianeira – Paraná State to a structured questionnaire constructed by the researcher. The analysis allowed knowing the opinion of students on the understanding of the relationship of mathematics to other disciplines, with the everyday and the difficulties for learning. The data obtained indicated that it is necessary to improve the method of teaching, exploring interdisciplinary and combining theory with practice. To improve the teaching and learning it takes more than a teacher training solely focused on teaching how to solve a mathematical problem, but also where and how you can apply such knowledge. |
