This monograph addressed the topic Prospects of Vocational Technical Education Middle Level Integrated in Brazil, theoretically about the history of professional education referencing the history of vocational education in Brazil and focusing on the history of vocational education in Paraná, following addressed on education and work, culminating with prospects for professional education. The research was conducted through the development and application of questionnaires in order to discuss relevant aspects of technical professional education built on a sample of forty students belonging to integrated / technical offered at two state colleges belonging to the municipality from Paraná middle level courses. The questionnaire was addressed about who was the decision to pursue an integrated technical course to high school, what is the expectation with the completion of the course, if the conditions found at the College realize attend the training process, what we intend to do to complete the course and choose the course again if starting high school. Through analysis of the data collected it was found that 79% of respondents sought the course by choice, 80% have the expectation of a better qualification upon completion of the course and, in addition, 46% upon completion of the technical course intend going into higher education, and 12% did not like the course and wish to move to another area. |
