Fast information has become a necessary tool for the Public Administration to carry out common and necessary service for the whole society. The knowledge acquired by public servers contributes to this evolution, however, the desired efficiency by public managers, is reached only when we combine knowledge to technology. This combination helps solve serving problems, it improves internal processes for registers and information communication and it still allows the creation of new public services. The overall objective of this research was to identify how the use of technology in the utilities service can influence the performance of the service of the citizens in the town of Telêmaco Borba, describing the main programs and projects implemented by presenting the impacts of these to society. The research was done through observation and records in chips with features and aspects of each program found where technology is present. By supplying technology and information for the society, we make it possible for the citizens to improve and search for new knowledge. Information, control and efficiency are the main results for a balanced management which is able to use technology in an efficient way and which is able to reach society’s longings. |
