As time was passing and humanity evolving, there is a need to create institutions to own the process of teaching and learning, so today we have a variety of educational institutions, some of which are maintained by the State, which are free for the society and others maintained by other individuals or legal entities of private law, but both must comply with the laws and regulations imposed by the government. Thus, the present study aims to analyze the thematic relationship between Public Management and Private Institutions of Education and how the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs occurs in these educational institutions. The work is based on laws and theoretical foundation for the research and for better understanding, consists of a study on Public Management, Special Education and Private Institutions of Higher Education. The paper also presents a field study conducted at the College Fateb and Regional Education Center through an interview applied to professionals working in the fields. Thus, this paper aims to present the relationship between the private sector and the public sector education, exposing what rules and laws that both must fulfill. A educação é um longo processo de ensinar e aprender, sendo assim o ser humano está nesse constante processo ao longo de toda a vida. Conforme o tempo foi se passando e a humanidade evoluindo, houve a necessidade de criar Instituições próprias para esse processo de ensinar e aprender, assim, nos dias de hoje contamos com uma variedade de Instituições de Ensino, algumas mantidas pelo Estado, que são gratuitas para a sociedade e outras mantidas por pessoas físicas ou jurídicas de direito privado, mas ambas devem cumprir com as leis e normas impostas pelo Poder Público. Deste modo, o presente trabalho teve como temática analisar a relação entre a Gestão Pública e as Instituições Privadas de Ensino e como ocorre a inclusão de alunos com necessidades educacionais especiais nessas Instituições de Ensino. O trabalho fundamenta-se em leis e referenciais teóricos para embasamento da pesquisa e, para melhor compreensão, compõe-se de um estudo sobre a Gestão Pública, Educação Especial e as Instituições Privadas de Ensino. O trabalho também apresenta uma pesquisa de campo realizada no Colégio Fateb e no Núcleo Regional de Educação através de uma entrevista realizada com profissionais atuantes nas áreas.
