Resumo: In order to collaborate with constant improvement in the quality of teaching of physical concepts in the discipline of science, this thesis sought to examine, within current perspectives and trends observed in the educational system of our country, a form of methodological approach facilitating the acquisition of knowledge - the use of experimentation. The elaborate issues contemplated the concepts of force and motion, momentum and conservation of momentum, with approach in the Laws of Newton. The research, a qualitative approach was applied to the class of 9 years of elementary school and followed a schedule divided into two stages: at first, from the theoretical - conceptual approach conducted by the science teacher, the students organized into groups, were underwent pre-test comprised of four (4) questions. In the second phase, the choice of low-cost, reusable, for the making of experiments demonstrate the concepts listed in the pre-test questions materials was performed. The activities were implemented in the classroom in accordance with the suggestions found in other works of literature review, in order to promote student interaction (subject) and knowledge (object) of learning more interesting and productive way. Within this framework, contextualization and interdisciplinarity were also key aspects that have strengthened the transposition of the difficulties presented by the students to relate the knowledge of common sense knowledge with scientifically systematized. Given the guidelines of the Basic Education of Paraná, the research, along with students, curriculum guidelines was accomplished with the use of other existing educational resources for college. The result was positive with visible increase in school performance due to the increased interest in collective participation in carrying out experimental activities. The use of the methodology of the trial proved to be relevant in the motivational aspect, significantly raising the students' interest in learning.
