Classroom so that the teacher can help his students memorize the tables. This research of a qualitative nature was carried out with the teachers of a school of the Araras Municipal Teaching Network, where questions about their pedagogical practices were approached, and then suggestions of a methodology and technique of memorization to be applied with the students. The proposal presents a new stimulus to students to memorize the table, thus optimizing the resolution of the multiplication operation. Therefore, it was concluded that the applicability of the presented mnemonic process can allow the students a more visible, concrete and pleasurable way to solve the operation of the multiplication. Diante da aparente dificuldade dos alunos do quarto e quinto anos do Ensino fundamental em realizar a operação matemática da multiplicação, devido à falta de memorização da tabuada, ocasionando erros na execução do algoritmo, este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar algumas possibilidades de trabalho em sala de aula a fim de que o professor possa auxiliar seus alunos na memorização da tabuada. Essa pesquisa de natureza qualitativa foi realizada com os professores de uma escola da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Araras, onde foram abordadas questões sobre as suas práticas pedagógicas, e em seguida apresentadas sugestões de uma metodologia e técnica de memorização para serem aplicadas com os alunos. A proposta apresenta um novo estímulo aos alunos para memorizarem a tabuada, otimizando assim, a resolução da operação da multiplicação.
