The main objective of this study was to evaluate the content of transgenic foods of textbooks used by the public of Cascavel-PR in 2012. Are initially presented some aspects about the importance of textbooks in public school, because it is often the only resource of teaching and learning in this classroom. Genetics comes with very important role in the formation of a critical citizen, to be present at all times in ethical discussions. Check the presence and quality of the theme that GM foods have the textbooks were the main ideas of this research, aimed at identifying the importance of the topic to the student, so that he has the ability to read and interpret what comes out in the media, analyzing the interests behind this research, arouse interest in the subject, learning and participating in what happens in our country. In this analysis took into account the theoretical content, visuals, proposed activities and additional resources. Thus the results allowed the agents educators make a reflection point in the selection of textbooks. It is vitally important that the teacher can update yourself and make reservations and suggestions regarding the content presented in textbooks adopted in public education. |
