Resumo: This paper presents as an inductive research about the current devaluation of environmental education (EA) within school curricula. The motivation arises from the fact that even though it is discussed in public guidelines, EA still finds barriers within the classroom. Many science teachers tired of the exhaustive routine, lacking teaching materials, support and teaching strategies choose to leave the subject to be approached eventually, at commemorative dates or special occasions of the school, thus the cycle of neglect and neglect with the environment continues to be more and more alive generation after generation, while as envisaged by law Environmental Education must be continuously worked in all sectors of society, constituting as a right and duty of all. The aim of this work was to contribute to recovering the value of the theme by exploring the potentialities of the Tamanduá Cachoeira, a natural site located in the city of Carambeí - PR, which is part of the so-called Rio São João basin. conservation due to some environmental aggravating factors such as the irregular waste disposal, industrial and domestic sewage, deforestation of native vegetation and development of the main invasive species, Pinus sp. To give real meaning to research and to contribute to supplying the lack of materials in this perspective, a digital didactic guide of interdisciplinary character was elaborated, with practical and playful activities to be developed in the surroundings of Cachoeira and in classroom. The material was developed from site visits to know its potential and bibliographical research to recognize the history and natural aspects of the environment.
