The theme of the current work was a Systematic Review of the Literature in the area of Science Teaching. Articles were investigated that discuss Scientific Literacy (SL) in Biology Teaching in High School. For this, the methodological contribution of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was used, according to Kitchenham (2007). The search focused on six journals of Qualis A1, A2, and B1 (year of evaluation 2016), in the area of Science Teaching and Education in the period from 2011 to 2020. Of the total of 2,205 articles found, only 2 results address Teaching of Biology with the perspective of Scientific Literacy in High School. In general, these works discuss the theme, on the one hand as teaching proposals through technology, and on the other, as investigation of the conceptions of Biology teachers about SL. In view of the small number of works found with the theme, the result showed the need for new works and research related to the Teaching of Biology from the perspective of Scientific Literacy in High School. |
