Resumo: |
This study aimed to develop an educational board game and a didactic sequence for its application in the classroom, so that elementary school teachers work on the theme of water resources within a proposal for Environmental Education, seeking to make students reflect about changes in habits through sustainable practices in their daily lives and understand the importance of water for the maintenance of life. The game entitled “Caring for the Waters” was designed with a board with 24 squares, 1 dice and four pins, developed in software for creating, editing and displaying graphic presentations. The game's houses were created in an octagonal shape and arranged on a path that simulates the curves of a river. They represent actions in relation to the conservation of water resources, both positive and negative. To apply the game, a didactic sequence was elaborated in the form of lesson plans, organized in stages, in order to guide the teaching practice. The stages were organized and defined in theme, content, strategic points, development time of each planned activity, main learning objectives, teaching resources and teaching methods. The main result of this work was the development of teaching resources that can help students in the learning process, since the game resource provides learning in a playful and pleasurable way, in addition to making them reflect on their actions in relation to water resources. |
