Resumo: This work focused on the existing relationships between Physics and Music. The general objective is to analyze the use of Music in the teaching and learning of Acoustics and Wavy, important branches of Physics that have a high degree of abstraction, and that require didactic means that facilitate their understanding. To this end, we contemplate the historical and philosophical perspective of science, investigate the construction of music theory, the contributions of Physics in Music and vice versa. In addition, it analyzes Didactic Sequences consisting of musical activities used in the high school classroom. Based on the hypothesis that Music has a huge potential for the teaching and learning of Physics, musical activity can be contextualized to physical concepts in an experimental way, giving more meaning to the knowledge constructed by the students. Thus, to make the hypothesis test feasible, a basic, bibliographical research is carried out, with a qualitative approach, with an exploratory and descriptive objective, under the hypothetical-deductive method. It was concluded that music was extremely important in the construction of Acoustics and Wavy, as well as physics collaborated in the structure of music theory.
