From a literature review is discussed the use of poetry in physics classes for high school. The division between the Scientific Culture and Traditional Culture, the gap between the scientific knowledge and the arts, literature and theater, for example, causes loss for both sides and for society in general. The education act is supposed to be also a cultural act. This idea is supported by legal basis , since the Supplemental Educational Guidelines for the National Curriculum Standards for Natural Sciences, Mathematics and its technologies (PCN + ) propose a Physics Teaching contextualized with other areas of knowledge. Thus, the goal of this study is to suggest proposals about teaching poetry in physics classes for high school, analyzing the current prospects of using poem as an alternative resource. The poem were selected and separated by central thematic that could provide discussions about physical or scientific concepts. The perspectives show that the subject of this work is poorly researched and the discussions about the integration of the dimensions of Science, Culture and Art rarely occur in physics classes. The works already developed about this subject emphasize the importance of considering the historical, cultural and social construction of knowledge, and the authors who propose the use of poetry in Physics Teaching agree that using poetic literature is able to address these considerations. |
