This fact occurs even with students who are gifted in areas other than language. The ones who have high skill in this area have a tendency to be more receptive to this learning and probably show more facility in developing reading and writing. Thus, this project has the objective of reflecting about this theme and qualitatively analyzes texts, specifically 'opinion articles', produced by diagnosed or investigated by the behavior of AH / SD students. It is intended to ascertain whether there is any specificity in these productions. Authors like Renzulli (1999), Antunes (2003), Freitas and Perez (2012), Virgolim (2007) support theoretically this research. O trabalho de desenvolvimento da habilidade de escrita nos alunos representa um grande desafio para o docente, já que, para este processo, o indivíduo precisa dominar diferentes aspectos. Este fato pode até mesmo ocorrer com aqueles que possuem comportamento de Altas Habilidades/Superdotação (AH/SD). Assim, o presente estudo tem como finalidade refletir sobre a temática, ou seja, a produção de textos de alunos com AH/SD, analisando qualitativamente textos elaborados por aluno diagnosticado e por aluno com indicativo desse comportamento. Tais textos foram coletados durante realização de projeto viabilizado pelo Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID). Autores como Renzulli (1999), Antunes (2003), Freitas e Perez (2012) e Virgolim (2007) embasam teoricamente esta pesquisa. Os resultados sugerem que o desenvolvimento das práticas de escrita devem ser contínuas e respaldadas pelo professor, pois a mesma requer o trabalho com estratégias específicas.
