Resumo: In this paper we propose to present some notes on assessment, seeking to characterize how this activity is designed in GEPEMA - Group Study and Research in Mathematics Education and Evaluation, State University of Londrina. We discuss the meaning of intervention in education and the teacher's role in the development of this task, especially when taking assessment as a process integrated with teaching and learning processes. We finished bringing some features of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to teaching and assessment in mathematics held by the group, showing the possibilities of teacher intervention in this context.
