The learning of the exact sciences comes trivially surrounded of prejudgment. The idea that one has that subjects as physics, chemistry and mathematic are surrounded by contents which don't seem like people's daily, favors too fast the students’ disinterest, leading them sometimes to draw hasty conclusions about, for instance, chemistry. This study aimed to analyze the concept and interest students have when it comes to chemistry. For a case study, it was analyzed the same parameters after having contact with a pleasant and soon introduction to this scientific knowledge, through the practical classes with didactic-experimental emphasis, using materials related to people's routine, reassessing the meaningful or not thoughts changing, by questionnaire filled by the students before and after the project application. This project has been applied to elementary school students, from different ages, in a public school in Pato Branco, Paraná. Based on the questionnaire results and on the students’ behavior while studying, the existence of a prejudgment about the subject was confirmed, as well a thoughts change in a high percentage of them after the project application for this case study, what makes us believe in its efficiency in other cases. |
