Resumo: Literacy is a fundamental pillar for the full development of children. It is an important process for the literacy teacher. According to the BNCC, children in the 1st year understand the alphabetical principle, however during the 2nd year, they have more contact with punctuation rules and orthographic regularity. Based on this variability, this research aims to conceptualize literacy, analyze the construction of writing hypotheses concomitantly to the student contact with real texts, and conceptualize the social function of each one correlating to phonological awareness, reading and writing. All of this analysis will start from a qualitative and bibliographic research, searching for knowledge to analyze not only the importance of acquiring the alphabetical-orthographic system, but also in order to show the importance of phonological awareness for the development of children in the literacy phase. During this process, we intend to investigate how digital resources or platforms can assist in the literacy process (phonological awareness), in order to develop skills to use the letters’ sounds to build new words.
