Resumo: The present work inserts the reader in the questions of the modern world regarding the factors triggered by globalization, as is the case of technology. Therefore, through this, innumerable changes occurred in society, in its different sectors, such as: commercial, industrial and even educational. However, it also provides negative occurrences, an example is the case of current generations, who spend a lot of time in front of technological screens, especially children and, therefore, are not interested in contact with nature. Thus, regarding nature, an impasse that directly reflects on environmental conservation issues is "Vegetal Blindness", this is characterized by the human inability to visualize and differentiate plant species. In this way, when an individual looks at nature, he automatically groups green in one group and animals in another. The objective of this work was to present the importance of starting botany studies in the Early Childhood Education phase, as a tool that helps the next generations to realize that plants have different species, as well as their importance for life as a whole. Since, in childhood, personality and values are formed for life, as a child with this well-formed base, becomes an adult who values environmental issues. The methodology used in the development of this specialization work was qualitative and quantitative, through the use of Google forms, with the purpose of collecting information, in addition to obtaining written reports from the participants about their opinions and experiences with their children, regarding technology and contact with nature. Thus, an online questionnaire with 10 questions was applied to a sample of 20 parents. Thus, through the main results obtained, it was possible to have a view of how parents take care of their children in these aspects. An interesting fact was that most participants do not leave their children for many hours in front of the screens, which is up to four hours, and another is that they analyze what are the healthiest games for their little ones. In this way, they provide diversity of contact with natural environments, such as squares, parks, in short, places accessible to their social context. Through the field research (online), it was possible to verify that most of the interviewees are aware of the importance of taking their children to have contact with nature and, they avoid that they spend many hours in front of electronic devices, as they understand that these result in negative impacts, which can cause difficulties in socialization, creativity and reasoning ability in children.
