In this work, a bibliographic survey was developed about articles published at high school using case studies in the last five years. Thus, in preparing it, the objective was to collect data that can subsidize researchers and even chemistry teachers with a panoramic view of the characteristics and trends commonly applied in relation to the studied theme and its application in the classroom. From the search in national teaching magazines, four publications were found, according to the preestablished criteria, which were analyzed and grouped according to their characteristics. Within these characteristics, it was found that several chemistry contents can be approached, but that this method is normally used in order to involve students in the process and promote effective learning based on problem solving, in what concerns formats of application, it is clear that working with small groups is the most used, as far as impressions are concerned, it is noted that both teachers and students indicate a positive outlook for the use of the case study, highlighting mainly how much the interaction between those involved in the process contribute to the teaching and learning process. |
