The study of Kinematics, the theme of this work, is fundamental for understanding the world. However, there are few studies that present short course proposals using low cost kits for teaching and learning for high school. Therefore, a short course, related to the cinematic theme, was elaborated and applied to a group of students in the first year of high school, from a public college in the city of Goioerê. To survey the students' previous conceptions about kinematics, two questionnaires were applied (one before the beginning of the work and another after the application of the short course). From the results, it was found that, due to the lack of prior knowledge about kinematics, students presented a limited understanding of some concepts. However, after applying the short course, the activities carried out by the students indicated that they broadened their understanding of the topic, overcoming some previous misconceptions presented in the pretest. |
